- Tech Radar

It’s extremely hard to find open headphones with such a sturdy build that’s matched by an impressive sonic performance. If you’ve been researching sub-$300 open headphones and haven’t been able to find what you’re looking for – the X2/27 definitely have a lot to offer.
- Sonic Elevation

The X2 is a superb sounding headphone that is very easy to listen to. Don’t forget it is an open headphone and that sound will leak in and out of it. The X2 is without doubt one of the better Mid-Fi headphones for use at home or at the office, not for on the go.
- Headfonia

its low 35 Ohm impedance that makes it a poor match for high output impedance tube amplifiers—something that the HD 600 does very well. But for most folks seeking a solid mid-level headphone audiophile experience, the Philips Fidelio X2 may be just the ticket.
