For both audio and noise cancellation, we actually like the on-ear Beoplay H8i headphones more than their pricier over-ear sibling, the Beoplay H9i. Neither can match the QuietComfort 35 II's noise cancellation prowess, but they both offer better-than-average performance. Sonically, many listeners will prefer the audio quality of the Beoplay headphones over the Bose headphones, despite the QC35 II being pretty solid in that regard as well.
The B&O BeoPlay H8i are luxury headphones with an excellent battery life and good audio reproduction. They're on the pricey side and have a problem of slipping off your head easily.
