Speedlink AUX stereo headset headed to Europe in June

Speedlink, one of the leading providers of PC and gaming accessories in Europe, is releasing a new headset this June entitled the AUX.

It has a very slick look that reminds me of the Beats by Dre minus the microphone, and will be available in the black/silver version pictured above and also a white/red version.

Specs include an inline volume/mute controls, an adjustable headband, and it weighs in at 260g (0.57 lbs).

It will also apparently feature two different cables… the description on their website is not very clear, but I am gathering that it will come with a non-removable 1.1m cord with a 3.5mm jack for portable devices, along with a 1.5m extension cable that terminates to a dual 1.8″ adapter for PC soundcards. I know that is confusing… here’s what their website says. I am more than open to clarifications/corrections….

  • cable length using smartphone jack plug: 1.1m
  • cable length using dual PC jack plugs: 2.6m

Check out all the headsets Speedlink currently offers along with a preview of the AUX on their headsets page.
