Help prevent hearing loss with dB Logic SPL2 Technology

| April 2, 2012 | 0 Comments

dB Logic has released headphones and adapters that limit decibel output, providing very safe conditions for listening to music. I have known for a long time that listening to music too loud is damaging to my ears, but frankly I have largely ignored it because I have no good way to measure it, and I don’t usually feel like the volume is too high.

SPL2 Technology by dB Logic changes this, providing headphones, earphones, and adapters that automatically cap the dB output at 85 dB, the level set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and European Union (EU) guidelines.

This technology should be especially attracting for parents who want to keep their kids’ ears in good health and possibly restrain them from coming down with Bieber fever.

The earphones retail for $34.95 and the headphones retail for $49.95. Learn more at the dB Logic website, or see what products are currently available at Amazon. Let me know if you find an adapter because I’m interested in one but can’t find one anywhere!
