This August, Beyerdynamic is adding another headphone to their already stellar lineup of audio products.

The DTX 501 p is an ultra-portable headphone much in vein of the Sennheiser PX200-II because of its tiny size, great portability, and closed-back design. From the press release, it even seems that it will sound similar! Check out their (somewhat generic) description of its sound:

“These headphones feature pure sound through perfectly balanced and precise reproduction. Deep bass and clear treble, without the common colouration in the mid-range, come together to create a level of sound quality that is unparalleled in this price class.”

The DTX 501 p will be available in white or black, and prices in at 79 €, or about $100. The design is very small and compact, with folding features allowing it to fit into a tiny carrying case (see pictures below). Specs include a 1.3m cable and 32 ohm impedance, both very conducive to on-the-go listening.
